Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use this website, request a quote, or have Printronics Solutions carry out work on a printer. By booking a job with us you accept them. Where a signed job sheet or a written contract says something different, that document takes precedence over this page.

Quotes and approval

We diagnose a fault before quoting. A quote covers the work and parts listed on it and is valid for thirty days. If we open a machine and find a second fault, we stop and tell you before doing anything that was not quoted. Work beyond the quote needs your approval, in writing or by message.

Repairs and parts

We use genuine or equivalent-quality parts and tell you which before fitting. Parts we remove are available for you to inspect on collection and are otherwise disposed of after thirty days. Repairs carry the warranty period stated on the job sheet, which covers the specific fault repaired and the parts we fitted — it does not cover new faults, misuse, liquid or power damage, or work later carried out by someone else.

Turnaround

Timeframes we give are estimates in good faith. Parts availability, particularly for older or imported models, can extend them. We tell you as soon as we know a job will take longer than quoted.

Collection and storage

Back up anything you need from the machine before handing it over. Machines are insured while in our workshop and in transit on our own vehicles. Completed machines should be collected within thirty days of notification; after sixty days we may charge storage, and after ninety days we may dispose of an uncollected machine to recover unpaid charges, having first tried to reach you on the contact details you gave us.

Sales and purchases

New machines carry the manufacturer's warranty. Refurbished machines carry the warranty stated on the invoice. When we buy a machine from you, you confirm it is yours to sell and free of any finance or claim; our offer is based on the condition we assess in front of you and does not change afterwards.

Payment

Payment is due on collection or delivery unless we have agreed credit terms in writing. Prices include taxes where stated on the invoice. Ownership of any part or machine sold passes to you once payment clears.

Liability

We are responsible for loss or damage caused by our own negligence. We are not liable for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption arising from a printer being out of service. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.
